Comedy Night

Well, this was a fun one! Amazon Prime Video were releasing the first season of the Marvellous Mrs Mazel (a big hit!) and they wanted to raise awareness of this new show and as well as the fact that Amazon Prime were making great original content.

Rather than respond to this brief with much of the same digital only led content, I wanted to put something on that really resonated with people - a comedy night featuring some of the most exciting women in comedy in honour of IWD.

So, we took over the Bethnal Green Working Mans Club, and renamed it to the working (wo)man’s club, cast some of the most exciting names in comedy including Sofie Hagen, Ellie Taylor, Evelyn Mok & Rosie Jones and threw just an excellent party with some cocktails and an afterparty in for good measure.

Needless to say, this sold out in 24 hours and there were queues round the block. It garnered a fair bit of press and created the perfect moment for really impactful UGC.
