Content Strategy

Content is King. Or so they say. Whatever way you look at it, our world is full of content. And, a lot of it we ignore, a lot of it we spend (too many) hours on and a lot of it challenges us and makes us think. Content is a powerful tool for brands, but it can be daunting knowing where to start. I go soup to nuts (never understood that expression). I start with an audit and a deep dive and go all the way through delivering objectives, KPI’s, audience insights and behaviours, channel strategy, content mission statement, content pillars and creative. And, if you need help with the structural framework of how to get it all made and organise it, I can help with that too.

Some things I can help with

Creative.

Creative. Well, that’s a broad word. I guess what I mean to say is the most overused word of the moment, storytelling. I like to tell stories, I like to deliver a narrative that is compelling. This can be in a campaign, this can be in experiential, this can be in social, this can be in a podcast. I mean, we have a lot of mediums. But, I will add, I do love a bit of art direction as well. It is the stylist in me, I can’t shake it.

Brand Strategy.

I have always been obsessed with brands. What makes us love one brand and not another? What gives a brand cultural zeitgeist? How do you know how to talk to your audience through words and design? I am here for the mission, the vision, the purpose, the belief, the identity. I strongly believe that if you can get everybody on the same page internally, you can create EXCELLENT work. It is all a journey, and sometimes yours needs to be rerouted and explored. And your team need to be on it with you.

Content Team Building.

So, you know how I said content was King? This sometimes means that how you create your content needs to be reconsidered. While an agency can be great for your campaigns and even your strategy, to be an agile content creator and be able to jump on the newest TikTok trend, you may need to build an internal team of creators. I totally appreciate it’s hard to know where to start. I have built so many content teams over the years, in all disciplines. Writers, sub editors, commissioning editors, videographers, motion graphics editors, graphic designers, creatives, producers. You name it. Not only can I help you with your ORG, but the actual hiring. I also know a lot of great talent. So, that may come in handy.
